Day 40: Thursday, February 24, 2011

The massive stress is OVER! After coming back from the library at midnight and a short break, I worked three hours straight on my VisualCV. I went to bed at 4:30 a.m. I “slept in” until 7:30 and took a glorious hot shower.

I went back to the library at 8 a.m. sharp and subsequently finished my podcast in a little under 2 hours. I was a little late to my first class, but I made it. That’s what counts.

Class at 11, listening to said podcasts.

Hearty lunch with a coffee boost.

Class at 2.

LP office hours with a long phone call with ♥ Al ♥.

Powwow about the amazing newspaper convention happening in L.A. next week. Read: I will be in California in less than a week!!! Crazy!

Rotunda meetings. Typical Thursday night 🙂

Getting a camera & tripod for filming the Todd Miller Rugby Tournament on Saturday. Trying to get ahead on a Broadcast project, so these late nights and early mornings will hopefully cease!

Then Lancer Poetry Slam in Jarman at 8!!! So excited for these poets to perform!

As soon as the poetry slam is over, however, this girl is heading back to Stubbs, getting into comfy cozy pajamas, and quickly falling asleep. Getting two and a half hours of sleep the night before is a killer.

Field trip to JMU with the Writing Center staff tomorrow! Can’t wait!

All the best, Laura Beth 🙂
